It all began in 1870, the year of construction of the building, which at the time was the busy post office in the area. Just think that the train also passed through there, abandoned around 1960.
It was then transformed into a renowned leather goods; and it is precisely from the combination of these two intended uses that the original name of the Hotel Posta al Cervo was born.
“Al Cervo” derives from a translation error of the word ‘gerva’ which in Ladin means leather goods.
